Don’t expect people to leave their own dreams and aspirations just to work on making yours a reality.   Truth is, each one of us   is struggling to make their own dreams come through.   That is why first of all, you and I got to be our own dream chasers, cheer leaders and motivators and seek for validation from within so we don’t have high hopes and expectations from other people.   When we do this not only do we prevent any future disappointment and validation from other people before we are sure about what to do but we are able to follow our instincts right from day one. whether good or bad we will learn from it and become better at it with time. Hi  Modern Muslim Woman, You can wear hijab, a hoodie or even a hat. It all dependent on your individual preferences. You can get hoodie that’s slightly bigger and loose so that it covers your head and hair. You can also add a cap to the hood to spice it up.  Push your hair backwards, like I have done here, then wear the hood over it.  Happy Sunday Diamonds

Now more than ever, the Modern  Muslim women doesn’t have to struggle to fit into the fashion world and trends.   Whatever the occasion is, the Muslima can still look trendy, edgier and let me use a more favourable term, sexier in her abaya and veil. Bear  in mind, fashion doesn’t know boundaries, it is simply how you put the pieces together to achieve a certain look but for a Muslim woman, be careful not to go against what the Holy Quran states about our way of dressing modestly.  For a modern Muslim woman like myself, much as i want to join the fashion trend, I am always careful not to go against the norm. Some of our Zongo women and their own formed opinions and set standards Growing up, I used to hear  stories about how some of our Muslim  women in the various communities  have formed their own standards of what is termed us class when it comes to the type of cloths a married woman is supposed to wear to occasions. Trust me it was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard people say or pass comments about. I did not  grow up in the zongo settings  very much so anytime I hear  issues like these I gasp for more breath. I hear GTP is in the middle class. As for the Deluxe and HiTargets  they are not even regarded or  classified as “Proper” cloth. How sad! I mean who are the setters of these standards? Why won’t they live and let others also live in peace?  In this age and time when the economy is hard, why would one allow herself to fall for this type of  broad daylight fraud and lies?
