Starting a Business with Kuburah Diamonds

Everyone can become a business owner because we are in a world of limitless opportunities, some of these opportunities you have to create by yourself, others  you have to grab. Either ways you decide, just be great at becoming successful at it. It is a beautiful thing when a woman has power over her financial status. Therefore it is important that every woman makes an  effort into creating something that will give her financial liberation. This can start small with or without. Start  making the efforts now. Below are my own charted path I used into become a fashion retail owner and a social activist. Read through it and see if you can adapt or improvise. All the best.

1.

PASSION: Before embarking on this business journey, there’s one thing I need you to be honest about and that is the PASSION you have towards starting a business. It is the beginning of how you feel about the whole business thing. Truth is there are loads of up and down in running a business, usually not all rosey as we are made to believe so in times like that, it is your passion that will drive you to not give up. You’ve got to be super passionate about it. Don’t just wake up and do it because you think everyone is doing it or because you have some loose money. Are you passionate?

2. Come up with your business idea. A good business idea makes great successful business. Your business idea can be what a lot of people are doing already, it doesn’t matter just make sure you are going to add some spice to it to make it the good business idea you are passionate about.

3. Get a brand name. Your brand name is what you will be identified. Your brand name is what you will use to advertise your business, the products you sell or the services you offer. Your brand name must be one that resonates with your target audience and one that be be easily identified with what you do,  it must symbolise what you do just by the mention of it. Your brand name should stand out and must be on top of  people’s minds. You can discuss or brainstorm this till you arrive at a suitable brand name.

4. Build  a team or go solo. I used myself as an example. My Kuburah Diamonds Boutiq  is solely run by me and my sales personnels and delivery guys. But my Zango Women Livelihood & Empowerment Programme. is done with a team. A group of skilful and resourceful empowered women who come together to make it a successful project.

5. Look for suppliers or vendors. If you are planning to go into skin products you need to lnow who and where to get your raw materials and packages. If it is clothes, who are you buying from to sell. Here, you have to be very concerned about quality.

6. Register your business if possible. I say this because it is important someone doesn’t go ahead of you to register your business name. Note that, as you are thinking of that business ans brand names a thousand and one people are also thinking the same thing so you have to act smart.

And being a smart person is a good characteristic of a successful business person.

7. Grow your business. If you are truly passionate about starting a  business, trust me doing all the things to grow that business will come naturally and you will do it effortlessly regardless the set backs. Here, you can grow it by introducing it to people close to you, family and friends, these are the first word of mouth ambassadors of our business. Then move from here introducing it to places you go, events etc. carry your busienss fliers or portfolio around, drop business cards and fliers at front desk and reception if possible. Speak to people, introduce your business.

Open a social media business page, invest in advertising or if you have the power to grow it organically do it.

I wish you all the best. ♥️💎 Kuburah Diamonds Foundation
