In the past, a muslim woman was someway somehow not a pleasant feeling when you find yourself being stereotyped because of your religion.

Growing up, I personally felt and experienced how a  zongo Muslim woman wasn’t given a job offer and also the chance to handle some key roles because of her identity (hijab).

Alhamdullilah! today that narrative and misconception about the zongo woman in Hijab is changing.

Most of us refuse to be tagged us dump, uneducated, skilful and enterprising. We refused to be only labelled as the kitchen girls or betroth into any early marriage.

The Muslim girl has found the true definition of what a woman of substance means and so is working at reaching it.

She’s taken serious interest in her education and furthering it to the highest level.

With her skills and capabilities, she’s found her feet so well and is also employing many others into caving a better future for themselves.

In her beautiful veil, she walks modestly and confidently into the future with great aspirations and dreams. Dreams that scare her sometimes but she’s still got her head up.

Today, the zongo Muslim woman in her veil is telling you that, Hijab doesn’t limit her roles, as long as she qualifies for it, give her the chance and see her turn things around positively for a greater good.

Muslim Women Crush Day.
Sparkle a your life and that of other people.
Empower someone.
Motivate someone.
Let’s grow together.
Be that Diamond. ❤️
