I was extremely honoured to have been considered worthy by organisers to chair the maiden edition of @miss_musilimah_ghana  ceremony  @accracityhotel.  An event for the woman  of substance, woman of essence, true definition of African Queen,  a Real African Muslim  woman who is true to herself and keeps her colours shining .  The novelty, and historic nature of the pageantry made it more exciting for me to be a part of it, with the extra privilege of being the Chairperson. You will be amazed by some of the ridiculous answers your get when  you go asking why a man is cheating or want to add another wife. Some men are selfishly standing on the popular phrase that says “a man is a man”  to just guilty trip women. These are a few silly excuses I have noted. 1. Suddenly, a man is cheating or intends adding a wife, you curiosity self takes you asking why and the first thing you hear is, “oh she’s not attractive anymore”, oh he said she’s not doing what she was doing anymore and oh bla bla and bla bla. But flip the script  and see if a woman decides to go about sleeping with men other than her husband or marry additional husband because her husband is not attractive anymore the world would  hear any peace? 2. Baby girl please don’t allow anyone lie to you that it will be difficult to get a husband if you acquire a degree/ masters degree/ PHD/ own  car / have a managerial position at work/ run your own business. Marriage is a very beautiful union, after the several days of celebrations comes the real deal itself. We don’t live in abroad where some typical traditional practices in marriage can be looked past. So sisters, pick a cue and be guided. 1. Always remember you are going to be married to your husband’s  family not your husband  alone.
